The Document Splitter helps you separate multi-interview notes into individual files for use in Convogo.

This tool is useful if you take all your notes in a single document or spreadsheet instead of one file per interview.

🧭 Why Use the Document Splitter?

Convogo works best when each interview is uploaded as its own document — this allows the system to clearly identify who said what and accurately attribute quotes in your reports.

If your notes are combined (e.g., one long Word or Excel file), the Document Splitter automatically divides them into individual interview files that Convogo can process.

⚙️ Accessing the Tool

1. From your Dashboard, click your profile in the bottom-left corner.
2. Select Advanced Tools.
3. Choose Interview File Splitter.

This opens the interface where you can upload multi-interview files.

📤 Uploading and Splitting a File

You can upload:

• Word documents (.docx) containing several interviewees’ notes
• Spreadsheets (.xlsx) with multiple responses organized by question or by person

Once uploaded, Convogo will automatically:

1. Detect and separate each interviewee mentioned in the file.
2. Identify each interviewee’s relationship (e.g., Peer, Direct Report, Manager) if that information is available.
